Patients Association is organising a unique event that aims to help
you find the answers to keep your hospital a clean and safe
environment for patients and staff. The Clean Hospital Summit,
sponsored by NHS Estates, Medirest, Smith and Nephew and Steris, is
not just a conference, but also an exhibition and a series of up to
32 free seminars.
Hear from the Chief Executive of the NHS,
Sir Nigel Crisp and Chief Nursing Officer Christine Beasley, learn
about the next policy initiatives from NHS Estates, the Healthcare
Commission and what's happening in the commercial sector.

Seminar sessions will cover issues such as
'Bio-decontamination of rooms and infrastructures', 'Roles of Contract
Cleaners' and 'Towards Cleaners Hospitals: Action Update and Future
Plans'. Seminars will be hosted by the Infection Control Nurses
Association, The Health Protection Agency, National Patient Safety
Agency, NHS Estates, the National Association for Theatre Nurses the
Healthcare Commission and Action against Medical Accidents, amongst
others.
